In accordance with Article 5 of Legislative Decree No. 117/2017, the Foundation—being a legally recognised ecclesiastical entity—has adopted a specific regulation for its ETS (Third Sector Entity) branch, integrated within the Foundation itself and named C.U.A.M.M. (University College for Missionary Doctors and Students), “Doctors with Africa CUAMM” or “CUAMM”. This regulation was officially filed by Notary Dr. Daria Righetto of Padua on 08/07/2021 (download the ETS regulation filing report).
The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors composed of eight members and the Bishop of Padua, who serves as President by right. The Board and its President are responsible for governance through strategic direction, oversight, and promotion. For the 2024–2026 term, the Board of Directors is composed as follows:

The Director of the NGO-ONLUS Doctors with Africa CUAMM is responsible for the organisational and managerial coordination of all activities. He is appointed by the Board of Directors for a fixed term of three years, renewable. The position is currently held by Father Dante Carraro.
Country Representatives are the legal representatives in the countries of operation, responsible for local management and planning. They are proposed by the Director and appointed or dismissed by the Board of Directors, to whom they report operationally.
